Liverpool have reignited their interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola as their pursuit of Alexander Isak continues to stall.

  Per , Liverpool are ready to reignite their interest in Barcola, who is a long-term target, as they continue to face difficulties in their pursuit of Isak. Their bid for the Newcastle star has been rejected, and both the PSG star and Real Madrid's Rodrygo are seen as potential alternatives.

  Liverpool have already spent almost £300 million ($400m) this summer, as they have signed Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong. A deal to land Barcola would reportedly cost around €100m (£133.5m) in addition to what has already gone out of the Reds' account, but the Anfield club is supposedly ready to make a bid. Arne Slot is keen to add another player to his frontline, although the Frenchman operates more as a winger than as a No.9, where Isak thrives.

  Barcola enjoyed an exceptional season in 2024-25 as PSG won the Champions League and Ligue 1, providing 21 goals and 19 assists in all competitions, although he has slipped down the pecking order at Parc des Princes. He operates primarily off the left flank, and signing the winger could allow Liverpool to use Ekitike as a No.9. However, report he is currently more likely to stay in the French capital.
